About the Role

Hyundai Motor Company is seeking a dedicated professional for the Parts Development role. This full-time position is based in King Abdullah Economic City, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, focusing on the strategic localization and supply chain management of automotive parts.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the timely supply of parts and enhance profitability through the localization of electrical and electronic parts and components. This involves identifying local companies, managing the supply chain, and overseeing the progress and status of localization initiatives to secure competitiveness in the market.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with local companies for parts localization within Saudi Arabia.
• Manage partners and secure cost competitiveness for parts.
• Ensure the timely supply of localized parts.
• Oversee the progress and status of all localization efforts.
• Secure competitiveness in Knocked Down (KD) parts through sourcing changes and level-down strategies.

Part Development and Localization Focus

A core focus of this role is on achieving specific localization targets for electrical and electronic autoparts. Responsibilities include:

• Achieving localization goals for each item, targeting 10% in the 10th year and 25% in the 15th year.
• Driving part value improvement and cost innovation activities for electrical and electronic autoparts.
• Establishing and managing supply quality control levels.
• Managing localization progress and status effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically with electric parts.
• Demonstrated ability to understand cost management principles.
• Proficiency in the processing and development of automotive parts.
